Protecting Your Vote

Hi, my name is Chris Anderson, your Supervisor of Elections. Since being appointed by Gov. DeSantis and then elected by Seminole County voters in 2020, I have challenged the status quo to improve election administration in Seminole County.

As an American, your vote is the most important thing you own, and I reaffirm my promise to PROTECT YOUR VOTE AGAIN.

Conduct Fair Elections

As your Supervisor of Elections, Chris has made it his mission to oversee safe and secure elections, staunchly combat voter fraud, and ensure that every vote carries its due weight. Chris has successfully conducted safe and several federal, state, municipal, and special elections as Supervisor of Elections.

Remain a good steward of tax payer dollars

Since taking office, Chris has ensured the Seminole County Supervisor of Elections office remains lowest cost per voter in the Central FL region.

Ensure every vote counts

Cyber security is a top priority. Chris will require routine vulnerability testing, system updates and patches, and website protections for all voting systems in Seminole County to ensure every voter’s choice counts. The choice a voter makes, is the choice Chris will take!

Pursue Excellence

Supervisor of Elections Chris Anderson’s office has received national acclaim for Excellence in Election Innovation and Most Outstanding Local Office/State Association. Chris and his office will continue to strive for excellence and maintain a high professional standard.

EVOLVE Partnerships

Addressing Election Security Challenges

Chris has established many initiatives, such as the EVOLVE Partnerships (Standing for Enhancing Voting Operations and Lifting Voter Experiences); this first-of-its-kind initiative allows the Elections Office to increase its partnerships with accredited physical security and cybersecurity agencies as it moves forward to create innovative opportunities to address the challenges found in 21st-century elections.

Partnerships include:

  • Department of Homeland Security (Cybersecurity)
  • Florida National Guard Cyber Defense Unit
  • Florida Department of State (Cybersecurity)
  • 18th Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office
  • Seminole County Sheriff’s Office (Safety Awareness Training for election workers)
